Diablo Immortal’s Halloween update adds Hallows Phantom and new endgame ranks

Posted on by

Diablo Immortal’s next update lands after maintenance this week, bringing back Hallows Wake with a new Halloween event called Hallows Phantom. It’s a seasonal spin on Defense of Cyrangar, with players fighting monster waves to earn Hallowed Stones and trade them for rewards like Gold, Arcane Dust, Telluric Pearls, Legendary Crests, and limited head cosmetics.

Maintenance is scheduled for October 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. PDT on Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and October 21 from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. PDT in the Americas. Hallows Phantom runs from after maintenance on October 21 until November 11 at 2:59 a.m. Any unused Hallowed Stones will be removed when the event ends.

  • Hallows Phantom adds daily and weekly quests, server-wide leaderboards, and three limited head cosmetics: Headless Pyre, Headless Miasma, and Headless Haunt.
  • The new Long March event campaign also runs from October 21 to November 11, with Skeletal Spoils rewards including Telluric Pearls, 1-Star Legendary Gems, chosen Set Items, and selectable Legendary Item Chests.
  • Returning events during the patch include Trial of the Hordes, Fractured Plane, Shady Stock, and All Clans on Deck, each with its own limited date window.
  • New Legendary Gear and Essences are being added for Monk, Demon Hunter, Druid, Blood Knight, and Warlock, alongside class balance changes.
  • Challenge Rift Season 21 begins November 2 and runs through December 17, adding floors 901 to 950. The first player on each server to clear Floor 950 gets a limited-time portrait frame until Season 22.

The update also includes a few practical changes. Inventory item pinning is being added, letting players pin up to 22 items so they stay easier to find. Selectable Legendary equipment rewards are changing too, so players receive a specific Legendary for the selected slot instead of a random one from that slot.

For endgame players, Secondary Item Rank is going up from 25 to 30. The new ranks unlock at Paragon 1600, 1700, 1800, 2000, and 2100. Blizzard is also resetting Legendary Essence Loyalty Points into Legacy Loyalty Points with the addition of Inferno XV Legendary Essences.
