Black Desert Online’s Edania Part 2 Update Adds New Bosses, Monster Zones, and Endgame Gear

As previously announced, Edania Part 2 is now live in Black Desert Online, sending players into Inner Edania with new high-level monster zones, boss fights, accessories, and the next step in the Battle for the Throne of Edania.

The update is being framed as the final chapter of Black Desert Online’s Act 1, though one major fight is still being held back. Hadum’s domain, Event Horizon, is included now, but the final confrontation with Hadum is planned for September.

For endgame players, the main draw is the new set of six monster zones. Pearl Abyss says these areas come with their own mechanics, encounters, and rewards, including materials tied to the new Godslayer’s Armor outfit.

Four bosses are also part of the Battle for the Throne of Edania: Agris, Markthanan, Elion, and Aal. Players can challenge one boss per week, with each fight carrying its own AP and DP requirements. Winning opens the door to competing for control of the throne, then defending that position from other challengers.

The update also adds two new accessories with the same maximum stats but different acquisition paths. Ekleta comes from converting Kharazad accessories and uses slot-specific enhancement materials. Apeiron drops from the new monster zones and can be traded, so players can also look for it on the Central Market.
