Black Desert Online Starts Heidel Ball Events and Sends Compensation After Login Issues

Black Desert Online is getting ready for Heidel Ball in California this Sunday, and Pearl Abyss has already switched on several in-game events tied to the show. Players can claim login gifts through Saturday, take advantage of Heidel Ball Hot Time bonuses, and watch for Twitch Drops starting Sunday.

The current login event includes items like the Choose Your Landscape Paint Box, Blessing of Cron Stones, Secret Book of Florin, Life Enhancement Help Kit III, Fughar’s Magical Elixir, Ellie’s Magical Elixir, and Item Collection Increase Scrolls, depending on the day. Hot Time is also live with bonuses including +1000% item drop rate and +100% skill EXP. Olvia Academy players can stack their academy bonuses with the event boosts.

This week’s smaller update adds new Mass Processing recipes and gives Royal Fern Roots another use. Players who no longer need them for Mythical Horse progression can now exchange extra roots for other items. The patch also updates inventory, storage, and Find My Item UI descriptions so they show exact item counts.

There are a few combat fixes too. Pearl Abyss says certain damage effects were not being applied correctly on misses in Node War, Conquest War, Arena of Solare, and Guild League. That includes damage-over-time effects such as bleeding and poison. More details are available in the official patch notes.

Pearl Abyss also confirmed login and website access problems earlier today affecting the Black Desert launcher and official site. According to the official post, the issue was fixed around 12:30 PM PDT, and compensation is being sent through in-game mail.
