ArenaNet Teases a Guild Wars 2 Reveal for Summer Game Fest

ArenaNet is pointing Guild Wars 2 fans toward Summer Game Fest this week, though it hasn’t said what it plans to show. The studio posted a short teaser video with the date 06.05.26, lining it up with the June 5, 2026 showcase.

The clip is light on details. It shows a sweep over a landscape, red banners moving in the wind, and a figure holding out a sword. The Guild Wars 2 account paired it with the line, “The wind stirs. The world shifts. Stand ready.” ArenaNet was more direct in its post, telling players to tune in to Summer Game Fest on 06/05/2026.

That’s all that’s confirmed for now. Naturally, players are already guessing, with some jumping to Guild Wars 3 speculation. But ArenaNet has also been steadily building out Guild Wars 2 with recent expansions, World vs. World work, and a newer expansion cadence, so a new Guild Wars 2 expansion reveal is also an obvious possibility.

Either way, the wait won’t be long. Summer Game Fest airs on June 5, and ArenaNet seems to have something ready for the show.
