Alleged Intrepid expense ledger adds new claims to the Ashes of Creation legal mess
A new round of allegations is hitting Ashes of Creation studio Intrepid, this time over an alleged internal expense ledger that reportedly covers spending from 2015 through 2025. The document was shared by YouTuber NefasQS, who claims it came from Intrepid and says it was checked against interviews and other sources, though he did not say where it came from.
According to the spreadsheet, the records include ordinary business costs alongside purchases that could draw more scrutiny, including alleged personal catering, historical memorabilia, and expenses that appear tied to Steven Sharif’s family home. The ledger also reportedly suggests employee pay was low relative to San Diego living costs, and that loans and investor money were doing most of the work to keep the studio running.
The big caveat is that none of this has been independently confirmed in the source material. NefasQS also says the ledger does not show the full picture of Intrepid’s finances. If the records are legitimate and relevant to the ongoing court fight around Intrepid, they could surface through official filings later.
That court battle has been running for weeks now. Investor Jason Caramanis previously accused Sharif of fraud and financial misconduct, while Sharif has denied wrongdoing. In an earlier message to fans, he said the accusations were an attempt to distort what happened and shift blame away from the board members he is suing.
For now, this is another unverified piece of a much larger dispute around the studio behind the long-running MMORPG. If you want to look through the material yourself, the alleged records were posted in a shared spreadsheet.
