Albion Online’s Realm Divided Part 2 adds Faction Battle Standards on February 23
Albion Online is rolling out Realm Divided Part 2 on February 23, and Sandbox Interactive is spotlighting a new open-world faction objective called Faction Battle Standards. Think of it like a roaming capture-the-flag target that’s meant to pull players into more spontaneous fights.
According to the developer blog, Battle Standards only show up in provinces where a conflict is active. Once one is unlocked, any faction-flagged player can pick it up and become the carrier. From there, the goal is to keep it moving by fighting enemy factions and capturing outposts.
As long as the standard is being carried successfully, it builds Prestige. The carrier earns it, and nearby allies who help out also get rewarded. Prestige climbs through normal faction activities until the standard hits Epic tier. After that, outpost captures stop pushing it forward. The only way to reach Legendary is by defeating players from other factions, so PvP becomes mandatory for the final stretch.
If the carrier goes down, the standard can be grabbed by anyone from any faction. Prestige doesn’t reset, though, meaning the next team to pick it up can keep building on the same progress.
When you’re ready to cash out, you take the standard to a friendly outpost and hand it to the bard Fiona Fableheart. She assigns faction points to the carrier and contributing allies, with bigger payouts tied to how high you managed to raise the standard’s rarity.
