Albion Online’s Dragonfire Update Gets a Reddit AMA Before Its August 31 Launch
Sandbox Interactive is holding a Reddit AMA for Albion Online’s next major update, Dragonfire, ahead of its August 31 launch. The AMA is set for 16:00 UTC on the r/MMORPG subreddit, where players can ask the team about what’s coming in the update.
Dragonfire is centered on a new high-risk region called the Ancient Lands, which the studio has described as difficult but rewarding. The update also brings dragons into the mix in a more direct way, including new Dragon Armors crafted from dragon hide, scales, and other materials gathered from Drakes and Dragons.
According to the official Dragonfire page, the update is one of Albion Online’s bigger additions for the year. The AMA should give players a clearer look at how the new zone, enemies, and gear fit into the sandbox MMO’s existing PvP and gathering-driven loop.
Dragonfire launches August 31.
