Zenith: The Last City servers are shutting down in December 2026

Ramen VR is shutting down Zenith: The Last City on December 18, 2026, bringing the VR MMORPG’s live service to an end. Servers will go offline permanently at 10:00 AM PST that day, and the game won’t be accessible after that.

The studio had already stopped making new content for Zenith in 2024, but kept the servers running “until further notice.” In its latest update, Ramen VR said it can’t continue operating the game at a loss, citing the same issues it discussed back in 2024, including player retention and the cost of keeping the service online.

Sales are also being wound down. As of October 21, 2026, new sales of the paid Zenith: The Last City DLC and Zennies premium currency have ended across all platforms. Players who still have Zennies can spend them in-game until the servers close.

New players can still download the free version, Zenith: Nexus, until November 18, 2026. After that date, new users won’t be able to download Zenith. Existing players will keep access and can continue playing until the December shutdown.

Ramen VR also confirmed there are no current plans for an offline version or community-hosted servers. Active player support ended in September 2024, though the studio says it will still provide support “when we can” until the final shutdown.
