Wuthering Waves Version 3.1 adds Luuk Herssen, Galbrena, and a new survival mode

Wuthering Waves rolled out Version 3.1 over the weekend, bringing two new characters to pull for, a fresh chunk of story, and a new combat mode built around surviving enemy waves.

The big banner additions this time are Luuk Herssen and Galbrena. According to the official post, both are featured on limited-time banners alongside several returning characters, with new weapon banners also running in the same update.

On the gameplay side, Version 3.1 adds a new story chapter, plus a mode called Blade Hunter: Wilderness. It’s a survival-style run where you fight through waves of enemies while picking up buffs as you go, leaning into that “get stronger mid-run” loop.

There are also limited-time events tied to completing missions for event currency, which you can trade in for rewards. One of the event activities is themed around rebuilding downed power lines, for anyone who likes their gacha grind with a little light infrastructure repair.
