Supervoid reveals Project DNA, a new Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG for PC

South Korean studio Supervoid has pulled back the curtain on Project DNA, a new in-development PC MMORPG set on a ruined Earth where “immortal” superpowered humans fight off mutant creatures. The studio has a site up with early screenshots and a gameplay reveal trailer, but it’s still very much an early look.

According to the official site, Project DNA is being built in Unreal Engine 5 and is aiming for active, player-controlled combat rather than hands-off auto-battling. Supervoid also says the game will lean on multiplayer world systems like politics, an economy, and a society, though it hasn’t explained what that actually means in practice yet.

One of the few concrete bits: Supervoid has shown off six playable characters so far, and each one can use elemental powers. There’s also an “evolution” system described as using genetic algorithms to let characters grow and adapt in unique ways, but again, there’s no real breakdown of how that works moment-to-moment.

What you won’t find yet are the big practical details. There’s no release window, no announced test schedule, and no word on monetization. For now, it’s basically a reveal: here’s the setting, here’s the tech (UE5), here’s the combat direction, and here are a few characters.

If you’re curious, the trailer and image gallery are live on Supervoid’s site, and that’s currently the main source of info until the studio shares more.
