WoW Sept. 10 Hotfixes Clean Up Survival Hunter Bugs, Prey Buffs, and Raid Issues

Blizzard has rolled out a new round of World of Warcraft hotfixes dated September 10, 2026, with fixes spread across the live game and several Classic versions. The biggest player-facing changes hit Survival Hunters, Prey buffs, a few dungeon and raid encounters, and Burning Crusade Classic honor gear.

As usual, some fixes are live now, while others may need realm restarts. Blizzard also notes that some issues still require a client patch, so not everything can be handled server-side.

  • Survival Hunters got two bug fixes. Wildfire Bomb should now deal its initial damage properly even if the Hunter is crowd controlled when it lands, and Strike As One should correctly deal damage with Raptor Swipe when Tip of the Spear and Aspect of the Eagle are involved.
  • The Prey buff from Afflicted and Tormented Souls now persists through death, battlegrounds, arenas, and spec swaps. Players also can’t accidentally remove it anymore.
  • Several class bugs were fixed, including Unholy Death Knight Magus of the Dead spawns appearing at odd vertical positions, Spellslinger Mage splinters hitting crowd-controlled targets when better targets were available, and Restoration Shaman’s Soothing Rain not reducing Healing Rain’s cast time correctly.
  • Holy and Protection Paladins also got fixes for Ringing of the Heavens and Glory of the Vanguard, while both versions of Rogue’s Thistle Tea can now be tracked in the Cooldown Manager.
  • Delves saw a couple of cleanup fixes, including Domanaar Enforcers no longer Devouring already-dead corpses. Explorer’s League Supplies and the Abandoned Restoration Stone should now appear in the “Loosed Loa” Twilight Crypts variant.
  • In raids and dungeons, Nalorakk’s Echoing Maul in Den of Nalorakk should no longer trigger unintentionally, and Mor’zahi’s damage escalation during Final Ascension in The Venomous Abyss should reset if the cast is interrupted.
  • Burning Crusade Classic players can now buy Arena Season 2 belts, bracers, boots, rings, and necklaces at discounted honor costs from vendors in Orgrimmar’s Hall of Legends and Stormwind’s Champion’s Hall.

PvP Evokers also saw fixes tied to Unburdened Flight, Deep Breath, Hover, and Chronowarden’s Warp, mostly targeting movement and snare immunity behavior that wasn’t working as intended.
