WoW Classic Burning Crusade Anniversary realms add Serpentshrine, Tempest Keep, and Arena Season 2

Blizzard has rolled out Phase 2 for the Burning Crusade Classic 20th Anniversary realms. The update, called Overlords of Outland, went live last week and opens up two more endgame raids: Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep: The Eye.

It also starts Arena Season 2, which means PvP players can jump into the next ranked season now. On the PvE side, druids can finally unlock swift flight form, and crafters have access to some additional recipes with the new phase.

For players on the Anniversary realms, this is basically the next big step in Burning Crusade’s progression. Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep were major raid targets in the original expansion, so their arrival pushes geared groups into the next tier of content after the earlier Phase 1 lineup.

The update is specific to the Burning Crusade Anniversary servers, which are Blizzard’s progression take on WoW Classic’s first expansion. If you’ve been waiting for the next raid tier or the next arena reset, that part of the roadmap is now live.
