WoW Brewfest Returns September 20 With New Transmog Sets and Housing Decor

World of Warcraft’s Brewfest is back from September 20 through October 6, bringing the usual mix of ram racing, daily quests, seasonal food and drinks, and the Coren Direbrew boss fight. This year’s event is running in Silvermoon City, Valdrakken, Dornogal, Ironforge, and Orgrimmar, with Brewfest Prize Tokens returning as the main event currency.

The biggest additions are tied to the Brewfest Banquet. Completing the outdoor scenario can earn two new Brewer transmog sets: a purple set and a red set, each with a beret, shoulder cape, belt, and kilt. The Banquet itself has players splitting into roles, with Gatherers collecting ingredients, Cooks preparing food and brew, and Servers delivering meals to NPC customers.

Brewfest is also getting some housing-related items. Holiday Decor Vendors Jolli Maxiboom for Horde and Holly Twinklebright for Alliance will sell the Traditional Brewfest Stein and Brewfest Crate for gold in housing neighborhoods. Brewfest Decor Specialists Fizz Alechux and Kay Stouthammer will sell additional decor for Brewfest Prize Tokens, including a banner, fence pieces, and a hanging wreath. During the event, Fay Stouthammer and Dizzy Alechux will offer the available Brewfest items at the hubs outside Ironforge and Orgrimmar.

Players can also pick up new Brewfest quests in Quel’Thalas by speaking with the Holiday Enthusiast in Silvermoon City. Returning activities include Barreling Down in Valdrakken, Bubbling Brews with Dragonriding, the Brewfest Chowdown eating contest, daily quests, food and drink sampling, and the ceremonial keg tapping at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. server time.

Coren Direbrew returns as the seasonal boss in Blackrock Depths, with a once-daily chance at event rewards, including rare mounts such as the Brewfest Barrel Bomber, Great Brewfest Kodo, and Swift Brewfest Ram. The Brewmaster meta-achievement and title are also still available for players chasing the holiday checklist.
