World of Warships: Legends Marks 7th Anniversary With Tides of Adventure Update

World of Warships: Legends is celebrating its 7th anniversary with the Tides of Adventure update, now live across all platforms. The update brings anniversary gifts, event currency, a new campaign, returning collaborations, and a limited battle mode built around modern-era warships.

The headline addition is the new modern ships mode, which lets players pick a faction and fight using vessels equipped with guided missiles and other newer weapons. Players can upgrade these ships during the event and work toward rewards, including a new Commonwealth cruiser styled after the winning faction.

  • Mariner’s Coins are the anniversary event currency, exchangeable for rewards including rare ships such as Dalian, Navarin, or Tulsa.
  • New premium ships include the Soviet Tier V battleship Novorossiysk and Spanish Tier VIII cruiser Almirante Oquendo.
  • A free store gift includes camouflages, other items, and Explorer’s Chests, which can contain rewards from past events like Halloween, Black Friday, pirates, and Roman Empire themes.
  • The Noble Lombard campaign adds 100 milestones, with extra rewards through Admiralty backing, including the Italian Tier VIII Premium cruiser Ferrante Gonzaga.
  • Other anniversary content includes the Where the Maps End calendar, Treasure Hunt ’26, Birthday Bureau Project, and the return of Windroses.

The August update also brings more Ranked Battle seasons, the U.S. Legendary Tier aircraft carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt for Steel, and the return of the Azur Lane collaboration with all seven waves available again.

Wargaming says the update includes additional bug fixes, improvements, and visual upgrades as well. The full breakdown of events and rewards is available in the patch notes.
