World of Warships adds Azur Lane Wave 8 content through June 17
World of Warships has brought back its Azur Lane crossover for an eighth round of content. The event is live now as part of update 15.3 and runs until June 17, adding new themed ships, commanders, flags, camouflages, and a new collection tied to the mobile naval game.
This wave includes six Azur Lane ships: AL Marco Polo, AL Tashkent, AL Massachusetts, AL Shinano, AL Harbin, and AL Richelieu. Wargaming is also adding eight new commanders based on Azur Lane characters, with Marco Polo, Tashkent, Massachusetts, Shinano, Tallinn, Harbin, Richelieu, and Asashio joining the lineup.
The other big piece is a new Azur Lane Collection with 20 elements spread across five lists. Completing it unlocks three tile flags along the way, and finishing the full set gives players a custom death animation, plus a skin and commander for AL Tallinn.
There are a few more cosmetics in the update too, including the permanent Azur Lane: Wisdom Cubes camouflage and permanent camouflages for Tallinn and Asashio. The Azur Lane: Ocean Guardians Premium containers have also been refreshed. According to the patch notes, all of this is part of the broader 15.3 update.
If you’ve lost track, this crossover has been running since 2018. Wargaming says the collaboration has now grown to more than 35 commanders, 15 ships, and 20 skins across its various waves. Update 15.3 also adds the German destroyer ZH-1 to the Dockyard and includes two separate event passes, though the Azur Lane content is the headline item here.
