World of Warcraft’s Warband Bank is back online after a hotfix
World of Warcraft players got a bit of good news this week: Blizzard says it’s resolved the issue that forced the Warband Bank system offline for a couple of days, and the feature has been re-enabled.
In a post on the official forums, Blizzard said the underlying problem has been fixed and that “no changes were made to the warband bank or its contents.” In other words, it should be back to normal, with no missing items or unexpected resets tied to the downtime.
Outside of the hotfix, the community’s still doing what it does best: making the game look weirdly impressive in ways Blizzard probably didn’t plan for. One recent example comes from a player housing build called “Super Happy Fun Time,” a resort-style setup that reportedly includes a bowling alley, buffet hall, theater, and even a boxing ring. The creator also says they’re tearing it down soon to start a new project, which is both painful and extremely on brand for creative builders.
There’s also been some nostalgia-fueled fan work making the rounds, including a recreation of the original 2004-era WoW box art using modern in-game character models. Not exactly patch-related, but it’s a fun reminder that not everyone’s logging in just to push higher keys.
