Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis rolls out the final part of its February update with new limited-time quests
The third (and final) part of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis’ February 2026 update is now live, adding a fresh batch of limited-time quests. Sega’s breakdown is up on the official update page.
This drop is mostly about getting players back into rotating activities. The headline additions are an eight-player Mining Rig Defense setup that swaps between daily trials in Aelio and Retem, plus a limited-time fight against the Planetwrecker boss in the Crimson Realm of Kvaris.
There’s also the usual side incentive stuff tied to the event, including lockbox items.
With this being the last leg of February’s content, the next obvious step is whatever Sega has planned for March. Nothing new was detailed here beyond the limited-time quests and related tasks, but the update page lays out what’s currently available and what to queue for while it’s still running.
