World of Warcraft’s August Trading Post Adds Western Transmogs and a Former Promo Mount
Blizzard has laid out the August Trading Post lineup for World of Warcraft, and this month leans hard into a black-and-white Western look. The big chase item is the Ensemble: Midnight Outlaw transmog set, which players can earn by filling the Traveler’s Log during the month.
According to the official post, August’s stock includes three mounts, several cowboy-adjacent armor sets, matching weapons, eyepatches, flower crowns, sweatsuits, and a few royal-themed pieces. As usual, items are bought with Trader’s Tender, while the monthly bonus reward comes from completing activities.
- Hateforged Blazecycle, a former promotional mount, is available through the Trading Post for the first time for 500 Trader’s Tender.
- Badlands Buzzard is another mount option, priced at 550 Trader’s Tender.
- Grandmaster’s Royal Board is also in the mount section for 700 Trader’s Tender.
- Ensemble: Badlands Lawbringer and Ensemble: Righteous Lawbringer are the big Western armor sets, each priced at 675 Trader’s Tender.
- Weapon transmogs include Lawbringer-themed daggers, guns, and maces, plus Grandmaster’s Royal weapons.
- Filling the Traveler’s Log unlocks the Ensemble: Midnight Outlaw transmog as August’s bonus reward.
Players can check the Trading Post in Stormwind outside the Mage District, in Orgrimmar near Grommash Hold, in Dornogal, and in the renewed Silvermoon City. If there’s something from July’s selection you still want, don’t forget the freeze option lets you hold one item over for a later purchase.
The Trading Post is available in modern World of Warcraft, not WoW Classic. Active accounts get 500 Trader’s Tender each month from the Collector’s Cache, with up to 500 more available through Traveler’s Log activities.
