World of Warcraft opens Midnight raid content and rolls out April Trading Post rewards

Blizzard has opened another chunk of raid content in World of Warcraft this week. According to the official post, Midnight’s third raid, March on Quel’Danas, is now live on normal, heroic, and mythic, and the third Raid Finder wing for Voidspire has also unlocked. For many WoW players, the start of a new raid tier is when the game “really begins.”

Outside raiding, April’s Trading Post is now up with a garden-themed reward set, and WoW Classic players have a new Mists of Pandaria Classic phase to dig into. The Classic side got the Escalation update, which adds new scenarios, heroic scenarios, and a new conquest event in the Northern Barrens.

The live game update is the bigger headline for current retail players. March on Quel’Danas opening on all three standard raid difficulties means organized groups can jump straight into progression, while Raid Finder players get another slice of Voidspire through wing three.

April’s Trading Post lineup includes the Arboreal Pseudoshell ground mount, the Vicious Snapvine mount, the Grumpy Mandrake pet, and the Forest Dweller’s Blooming Attire cosmetic set. It’s a pretty specific seasonal theme, but if you collect mounts and transmogs, that’s the main draw this month.

On the Classic side, Blizzard says Mists of Pandaria Classic’s Escalation phase is now live as well. According to the announcement, that phase adds more group content and pushes the ongoing faction war forward with the Northern Barrens conquest event.
