Temtem Swarm hits 1.0 on Steam and PS5 with new Tems, prestige, and a roguelike tower

Temtem Swarm is out of early access and has launched in full on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. The 1.0 update adds a handful of the bigger missing pieces for the co-op survivor-style spinoff, including a prestige system, two new Tems, and a new procedural arena.

According to the Steam post, players can now unlock powerful passive bonuses and shiny skins through the new prestige system once a Tem’s skill tree is fully mastered. The update also adds Venx and Chromeon to the roster, along with the Evershifting Tower, a procedurally generated arena meant to give runs a bit more variety.

Crema is also bundling in more of the usual 1.0 stuff: new techniques, gear, glitches, and achievements. Cross-platform play is available between Steam and PS5.

On the console side, the PS5 version is launching with a 30% discount through April 16. No price was included in the source provided here.

Temtem Swarm is one of the spinoffs built from the broader Temtem series. Unlike the original monster-collecting MMO, this one leans into auto-shooter and roguelike run structure, with players fighting through waves either solo or in co-op.
