World of Warcraft: Midnight’s Revelations Update Adds Rotmire Raid, Void Zones, and Housing Changes

Blizzard has posted the full notes for World of Warcraft: Midnight’s Revelations update, which arrives June 18. The update moves the Void storyline forward with two new areas, Val and Naigtal, accessed through a portal in Voidstorm, plus a new single-boss raid against Rotmire in Sporefall.

According to the content update notes, the Voidstorm portal will rotate destinations each week. In those areas, players can run World Quests, fight rares, join events, and eventually take on the leaders behind the Void attacks as world bosses.

Rotmire is the other big addition. The fungal giant waits in Harandar, with Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic versions available. Mythic also supports flexible groups of 15 to 25 players. Rewards include Sporefused gear, the Luminous Rotshroom housing decor item, and progress toward the Luminous Sporeglider mount.

The update also adds the Omnium Folio, a new power system tied to weekly activities. Once unlocked, players can use and upgrade runes that will remain available through the rest of the Midnight expansion.

  • Housing gets outdoor lighting, higher exterior decor limits, and more than 100 new common decor items on neighborhood vendors.
  • Weapons and armor will no longer lose durability from combat events like attacking or blocking.
  • XP rewards are being increased for several Midnight activities, including first-time delves, dungeon quests, Prey, weekly Renown activities, Void Assaults, and Ritual Sites.
  • Ritual Sites get a new Tier 6 difficulty, with a recommended item level of 274 and new related achievements.
  • Turbulent Timeways returns June 30 through August 11, starting and ending with Dragonflight Timewalking dungeons.
  • The Darkspear Dash micro-holiday is set for June 27, and a new Zul’jan story chapter opens July 7.

There are also UI and accessibility changes, including more Personal Resource Display customization, damage meter tweaks, raid marker macro support, and clearer Great Vault raid credit formatting.
