Warframe’s next story chapter, Jade Shadows: Constellations, arrives in June
Digital Extremes has announced Jade Shadows: Constellations, the next narrative chapter for Warframe, and it’s set to launch free on all platforms in June. The reveal came with a new anime-styled short made in collaboration with metal band ERRA and animation studio THE LINE.
According to the reveal trailer, Constellations follows two rival futures colliding in the present. It picks up the Jade Shadows story around Stalker and his child, with players seeing either Sirius or Orion depending on the choice they made in the original quest.
Digital Extremes also shared a few of the bigger gameplay details during its April devstream. The new quest will lead into additional Railjack content in Uranus Proxima, with more post-quest story beats and new onboard threats. The studio said it’ll share more on Sirius, Orion, and those Railjack missions during Warframe’s May devstream.
- Jade Shadows: Constellations launches free in June on all platforms.
- Two new Protoframes are on the way: Ryoku for Ash and Vena for Garuda.
- Finishing the new quest lets players unlock one of those Protoframes as a Railjack crew member.
- Operation: Belly of the Beast returns from May 4 to June 1 with previous rewards and some new gear.
- Nidus is getting an ability retouch focused on survivability and combat usefulness.
- Dante is getting a new deluxe skin inspired by an owl motif.
For players who haven’t kept up with this arc, Jade Shadows was one of Warframe’s more story-heavy updates, so Constellations looks like a direct follow-up rather than a standalone side chapter. The biggest immediate thing players can actually do before June is jump into the returning clan event in May, while the rest of the update is still being detailed.
