Time Takers Gets Another Global Steam Playtest in November

NC and MISTIL GAMES are running a second global Steam playtest for Time Takers, the studio’s upcoming free-to-play team survival shooter. The test lasts 72 hours, starting November 12 at 3:00 PM PST and ending November 15 at 3:00 PM PST. In UTC, that’s November 12 at 23:00 through November 15 at 23:00.

Players can request access through the game’s Steam store page. Anyone who signs up before the test begins should be able to jump in as soon as it opens, while players who joined the September Steam playtest or March closed beta won’t need to request access again. During the test window, clicking Participate will grant immediate access.

NC says this build reflects feedback from the September test, with changes aimed at combat, controls, visibility, and matchmaking. The company said player numbers and playtime increased during the previous test, though it didn’t share specific figures.

Time Takers is being pitched as a team-based survival shooter, and this next test should give players a better sense of how the developers are tuning its pace and readability after earlier rounds of feedback. The team also marked the announcement with a talk show-style video looking back at past tests and teasing what’s coming next.
