Throne and Liberty Delays Colossus Vegamor Update to September as NC Publishing Shift Begins

Throne and Liberty’s Colossus Vegamor update has been pushed from later this month to September while NC and Amazon Games begin the early work of moving global publishing over to NC.

The change was confirmed in the latest Resistance Report, which also lays out several gameplay adjustments the team is working on, including changes to Nix, gear progression, Skill Cores, and reward structure.

NC is set to take over publishing for the global version of Throne and Liberty sometime in Q4 2026, with Amazon Games stepping away. Because of that transition, the team says it needs more time to sort priorities and polish the Colossus Vegamor patch before it goes live.

Some economy changes have already gone in. Sollant costs were reduced for crafting Trait Unlockstones and Trait Enchantment Stones, ore costs for Inheritance were lowered, and players who crafted before those adjustments received refunds.

More changes are planned over the next few weeks and beyond:

  • Nix improvements are scheduled in about two weeks, including Tumgir Hollow, field events, and quality-of-life updates.
  • Later progression changes will remove individual ranking rewards from field boss and Archboss fights, with the goal of pushing rewards more toward party play.
  • A dedicated preset system is being built to make switching Skill Cores easier.
  • Flame of Purification acquisition will be sped up, and Redfrost drop rates will be increased.
  • When Colossus arrives in September, the maximum equipment item level will expand, with higher drop rates for max-level gear.

The main takeaway for players is simple enough: the big Colossus patch is coming later than planned, but several smaller fixes and progression changes are still on the way before then.
