Mortal Online 2 Hotfix Starts Cleaning Up Sarducaa and Adds a New Material
Star Vault has rolled out a Mortal Online 2 hotfix aimed mostly at cleaning up issues around Sarducaa, the sandbox MMO’s newer continent. The patch adds a new material to find there, expands the local fish lists, and tackles a batch of performance, connection, and world-fix problems.
According to the patch notes, this is more of a stability and polish update than a content drop. Still, Sarducaa players should have a few new things to look for while the team works through post-launch problems.
- A new material can now be discovered on Sarducaa.
- Local fishing variety has been expanded with more fish options.
- Network and performance fixes target loading problems, connection issues, lag, and visual effects performance on some NPC attacks.
- A loading issue that could leave players stuck when leaving Haven has been fixed.
- Drop rates and skill progression have been adjusted for Herbology, Herbalism, and Herbologium Expertise to reduce some of the grind.
- World fixes cover floating objects, collision problems, texture issues, foliage clipping into buildings, and unsafe logout problems in cities.
The skill changes are tied to resource yields that were making those gathering and crafting-related lines take longer to level than intended. Star Vault says the update includes a large number of world fixes, though not every individual object or texture change is listed.
For players who bounced off Sarducaa because of rough edges, this patch probably won’t change the whole feel of the continent overnight. But it does hit several practical annoyances, especially loading, collision, and general cleanup across the world.
