The Finals Season 10 adds a fantasy-themed event, new arena, and tutorial changes

The Finals has rolled out Season 10, and the big hook this time is a fantasy-themed spin on the shooter. According to the patch notes, the new season adds medieval-flavored weapons and gear, including a crossbow and a new Medium build option called the Aerialist.

Season 10 also brings a batch of broader updates. Embark has added a new arena, reworked the tutorial flow, expanded sponsorship options, and made changes to controller input and the ping wheel. If you just want the overview, that’s the main list of what’s new right now.

The fantasy angle is the most noticeable part of the update, mainly because it shifts the game’s usual modern gameshow look into something a little stranger. It’s still The Finals underneath, with team-based arena combat and lots of environmental destruction, but Season 10 is clearly leaning into themed equipment and presentation for this round.

Outside of that, the quality-of-life changes may matter more for regular players. Tutorial updates suggest Embark is still trying to smooth out onboarding, while the controller and ping wheel tweaks should be more immediately useful in matches. The developer has also published the full breakdown in its official post.
