SWTOR update 7.8.1 “Master’s Enigma” lands tomorrow with new story, Date Nights, and Galactic Season 10

Star Wars: The Old Republic is getting update 7.8.1, “Master’s Enigma,” tomorrow. It continues the story after Malgus’ escape and starts pulling back the curtain on Darth Nul, with players heading toward her research vessel, the Enigma.

On the side-content front, 7.8.1 also kicks off Galactic Season 10, adds two new Date Night missions, and brings back the Spring Abundance seasonal event with some updates.

Galactic Season 10 comes with a new structure that, according to the studio, brings back rewards from seasons 1 and 3 alongside new items on both the reward track and the vendor. While the track is active, players can pick up companions Altuur zok Adon and PH4-LNX, plus earn customizations for both.

The new Date Night missions are for Torian Cadera (Bounty Hunter) and Kira Carsen (Jedi Knight). They’re repeatable, and they’ll hand out decorations tied to each mission’s theme. Torian’s date night leans into Mandalorian cooking, while Kira’s has you reconstructing historic monuments.

Spring Abundance returns with its usual low-stakes activities like egg hunts and pie baking, plus dancing and rescuing and rehabilitating creatures.
