Stars Reach devs publish a roleplay guide for the Fae
Stars Reach has a new lore and roleplay primer focused on the Fae, one of the MMO’s playable peoples. According to the official post, the guide is meant to help players understand how Fae characters tend to speak, act, and name themselves.
The write-up covers the basics roleplayers usually have to piece together on their own, including behavior, priorities, naming customs, and a few cultural details. One of the bigger bits is the distinction between a public name and a “true” name, which is a key part of how the Fae present themselves.
It also touches on some physical and mythic background. The Fae are described as having two arms and vestigial wings, alongside in-universe stories claiming those wings once worked on a homeworld that may or may not have existed.
This isn’t a game update in the usual sense, but it is useful if you’re planning to roll a Fae character or just want a clearer sense of how Stars Reach frames the species. For a sandbox MMO that leans into player expression, this kind of guide fills in a lot of the social and cultural gaps players normally improvise around.
