Star Trek Online Sets September 8 Broadcast for Its Star Trek Day Future Reveal

Cryptic has locked in the details for Star Trek Online’s Star Trek Day broadcast. The virtual event, called Star Trek Online and Beyond: A Star Trek Day Celebration, will air on September 8, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT on the official Star Trek Online Twitch and YouTube channels.

According to the official post, the show will be hosted by Alice Wetterlund, known for Resident Alien, and Star Trek Online community manager Mikey Fatum. Cryptic says the broadcast will include surprises, interviews, and three panels tied to Star Trek’s 60th anniversary.

The main draw for Star Trek Online players is the promised look at the game’s future. Cryptic teased the September 8 date last week with the Guardian of Forever, and this new post turns that tease into a proper broadcast schedule. The studio hasn’t named the next update or shared panel titles yet, so expect the actual reveals to land during the stream rather than ahead of it.

This isn’t a content patch going live on September 8. Star Trek Online’s current in-game Flagship Celebration event already began on September 1 and is set to run for roughly three weeks. That event is part of the 60th anniversary push and includes Battle of Korfez for the first time.

So, for players trying to keep the dates straight: the event is already live, while September 8 is the reveal window for what’s next. The broadcast runs for three hours.
