Spirit Crossing Launches November 16 on PC, Switch, and Switch 2
Spry Fox’s cozy online multiplayer game Spirit Crossing now has a release date. The studio announced during the October 28 IndieWorld Showcase that the game will launch November 16 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Pre-orders are live now on Switch and Switch 2, while PC players can wishlist it on Steam. Spry Fox also said in a Steam announcement that the current Steam demo will stay playable until November 9, 2026, and progress from that demo will carry into the full game at launch.
Spirit Crossing is built around low-pressure social play in a shared world called the Crosslands. Players can gather materials, build and decorate homes, work on shared community spaces called Waystations, join activities like fishing tournaments, paint murals, or just hang out while another player plays music.
The game also has friendship progression, with social features unlocking over time. Spry Fox says that includes proximity chat, two-player emotes, gift-giving, and instant teleportation. Players can also set social permissions to control how they interact with other people they meet.
Spry Fox is known for games like Triple Town, Alphabear, and Cozy Grove. The studio said it has spent five years developing Spirit Crossing, with testing that started on mobile before expanding to PC. November’s launch will remove the beta label and bring the game to its first full release across PC and Nintendo platforms.
