Sheogorath Takes a Holiday Questline Is Now Live in The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online has added its new “Sheogorath Takes a Holiday” questline, sending players across Tamriel with the Prince of Madness and Noth the Unhinged on what starts as a very specific cheese tour. It’s part of Season One content, following the recent Thieves Guild story update.

The questline includes six story quests. Players can start it by picking up “Sheogorath Takes a Holiday” from the Crown Store, or by finding Noth the Unhinged at Baandari Trading Post in Malabal Tor, Windhelm in Eastmarch, or Sentinel in Alik’r Desert.

According to the quest announcement, the trip doesn’t stay light for long, with enemies moving against Sheogorath while he’s vulnerable. Completing the questline can earn rewards including the Sheogorath’s Blessed Cheese emote and the Mad God’s Tomeshell pet.

ZeniMax also published a Meet the Character lore entry for Noth the Unhinged, a Khajiit formerly known as D’Nothi. The entry frames him as a once-kind scholar with knowledge of ancient languages, though it’s pretty clear something has gone wrong since then.

A new Golden Pursuits campaign is live alongside the questline and runs through August 12. Completing related activities can unlock 10,000 gold, the Dramaturge’s Delirium head and shoulder styles, and the Runegathering of the Mad God customized action for finishing 15 activities.
