RuneScape devs are asking players what they want from Grand Exchange upgrades

Jagex is turning its “Road to Restoration” spotlight onto RuneScape’s Grand Exchange, and it’s starting with a player feedback push instead of a finished set of changes. The studio says the system hasn’t had meaningful updates in a while, and it wants to hear what players actually want improved before it locks in a plan.

According to the official post, the team already has a few pain points in mind. Buying and selling can feel slow, and it’s not always clear what’s happening during the process. Jagex also calls out the gap between Grand Exchange prices and real trade values, which can make the market feel out of sync.

On the feature side, the devs point to missing tools players have been asking for, like better item filtering and the ability to search or sort by price ranges. None of that is confirmed as “this is coming next week” stuff, though. Right now, this is more about gathering specifics and getting the discussion going.

If you spend a lot of time flipping items or just want the Exchange to be less of a black box, this is one of those rare moments where feedback could shape what gets built.
