ROSE Online Adds Year-Round Dolphin Island Event and Finishes RmlUI Migration

ROSE Online’s October 16, 2026 patch is live, adding a permanent Dolphin Island event, a new Super Ulverick encounter in Desert of the Dead, fresh quests for Gorge of Silence and Sikuku Prison, and the full move to RmlUI.

Dolphin Island is now a year-round activity built around PAT gear. Players pop balloons with Cart or Castle weapons to earn Dolphin Coins, then trade them for new vehicle parts and cosmetics, including Jungle and Red Vintage Convertible Carts, Carp Cart, Convertible and Chrome Wheels, and the King Throne backseat. A Carp Backboost has also been added as a balloon drop.

  • Super Ulverick can now spawn randomly in Desert of the Dead, with a new endgame quest called “Ulverick Unbound” from Ranger Paul.
  • New rewards include the Ulverick Mount and Banner of the Dead back item.
  • Gorge of Silence gets 15 new level 80 quests across five Selba NPCs, starting with Bith in Kenji Beach.
  • Sikuku Prison gets three new level 180 quests from Kentucky Jones and Helianthus.
  • PAT crafting has been reorganized into a progression-based setup, and PAT weapons are now craftable through schematics that drop from Kings.
  • New mounts include Snapper, Devourer, Ulverick, and Skeletal Dragon.

The patch also changes PAT material distribution. Materials have been removed from Honor and Valor shops and now drop in Gorge of Silence and Luna. Cart weapons have been removed from Mildun, except for the starter hammer.

On the technical side, the full RmlUI migration is finished, and the UI blueprint is now available to the community for modding. The update also adds a clearer enchant scroll confirmation popup that shows the item being affected.

There are a handful of reward and quality-of-life changes too. Akram Arena now gives every participant on both teams an Honor Box at the end of a match, Jupiterune can be traded and sold in player shops, Honor Accessories can be disassembled for honor, and Moldie Buff now lasts 30 minutes.

Bug fixes cover crafting material loss after crashes, storage delays, vending lists not saving after relogging, friend requests being added without acceptance, loot ownership indicators, and several client crashes. Mac and Linux players also get fixes for missing shadows, while Steam Deck startup issues have been addressed.
