Persist Online’s next pre-alpha test starts April 7

CipSoft has set the next pre-alpha playtest for Persist Online, its PvPvE zombie shooter MMO, to begin on Tuesday, April 7. According to the official post, the test is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. EDT and run through Sunday, April 12, though the studio says timing could still change.

This build adds a reworked three-part tutorial, new zones including the Harbor and Industrial District, expansions to some existing areas, the recently introduced resource node system, plus graphics updates and other quality-of-life changes.

Players who want in can still sign up for a chance at access. There’s one catch for returning testers: if you want to try the new tutorial, you’ll need to create a new pre-alpha account.

Persist Online has been in pre-alpha for a while, with CipSoft sharing regular development updates as it works toward broader testing. This upcoming test looks like the next bigger check-in, especially with the tutorial overhaul and new playable spaces now in the build.
