Persist Online alpha patch adds supply Nodes, sit-to-heal, and a new outline shading look
Persist Online just pushed a new alpha update that adds a fresh way to farm materials: supply “Nodes.” According to the patch notes, the feature is live now in version 0.6.0.65 alongside a handful of quality-of-life changes and a noticeable visual tweak.
Nodes are basically capture-and-harvest spots. You take control of a Node area and pull “pristine items,” which can be brought back and recycled for more raw materials than the usual junk you scavenge out in the world. There are a couple of limits: Nodes only work during specific time windows, and only one player can hold a given Node at a time. (You can still grab multiple Nodes within the same “family,” though the post doesn’t fully spell out how that’s structured.)
On the survival side, there’s also a simple new way to recover health. Sitting now heals you over time, with faster regen in safe zones: +50 HP per tick in safe areas, and +10 HP per tick everywhere else.
The patch also expands the Ashwater surroundings with more places to poke around, including a train station, nightclub, shops, and warehouses.
Visually, the update adds “outline shading” to characters, creatures, and objects. The devs frame it as a style choice meant to give the game a more distinct look going forward, so players should expect the overall presentation to feel a bit different after updating.
Persist Online is developed by the German game studio Cipsoft, best known for Tibia.
