Pantheon Week 4 PTR Update Resets Characters and Adjusts Healers, XP Gains

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen’s week four PTR update is live, and it comes with a character reset tied to new progression changes. The main focus this time is healer progression for Cleric, Druid, and Shaman, along with broader XP adjustments meant to reward players for taking on tougher fights instead of grinding easier enemies in bulk.

According to the patch notes, Visionary Realms has moved several healer abilities to different levels and added or replaced a few spell lines after feedback from the first weeks of testing.

  • Clerics now start with Healing Spark I at level 1, get Celestial Light I at level 12, and gain a new Sacred Shield line at level 4.
  • Druids can beckon Hirode at level 1, with Hirode’s Flame also available at level 1. Flickering Flame has been removed.
  • Preserver’s Wildfire for Druids is now a full healing ability with increased range.
  • Shamans get a new Rushing Waters ability, changes to Chronoburn’s mana and health generation, and a new Primordial Curse line replacing Bane of Water.

The XP changes are aimed at making harder enemies more worthwhile. Solo players are expected to get better results fighting the highest-level targets they can consistently handle, likely blue-con enemies, while groups should be pushed toward enemies slightly above their level. Light blue has been removed from the difficulty indicators, and purple has been added as the step before red.

Visionary Realms says the PTR changes are part of the larger Combat and Progression Update, with testing meant to help tune how difficulty and rewards feel in practice. The studio is looking for feedback on whether the new XP curve actually encourages risk without making the 1-50 leveling path feel too slow or punishing.
