Eterspire Adds Level 160 Plague Trial and New Endgame Gear Crafting

Eterspire has added a new endgame co-op Trial for level 160 players, sending capped characters into the Infected Cavern for the Trial of the Plague. The update brings three co-op bosses, new gear drops, and a crafting material tied to endgame equipment.

The Trial of the Plague also introduces a new Plague element. Stonehollow Workshop hasn’t laid out the full details yet, but the practical takeaway is simple enough: players will want Plague Resistance to survive the trial, and Plague Effectiveness to push through it more efficiently.

Each boss can drop new gear, along with a material called Dust. That Dust is used to help craft missing pieces from the new set, making this Eterspire’s first unique gear crafting system aimed at endgame players.

The update isn’t only for capped characters. A new level 78 quest in Bogtown has players meet Bighands, a goblin trying to help another goblin whose soul has been split from his body. There’s also a level 31 quest through Firefly Grove that takes players into Bouli Bouli cave to help Ethelred recover lost amulets.

This batch of content arrived ahead of the June timing listed in Eterspire’s mid-year roadmap, which also includes plans for guilds, Woodcutting, daily login bonuses, and Steam Deck verification.
