Pantheon outlines new mail system as testing gets closer
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is getting an in-game mail system, and Visionary Realms says it’s nearly ready to test. According to the official post, players will be able to read and send basic text mail from the game menu, while item and coin attachments will require a visit to a Mail Courier NPC or a Mail Kiosk in the world.
That setup is pretty familiar by MMO standards, but Pantheon’s version has a few extra features. The studio says players will be able to export mail, guild leaders will have mass-mail tools, and the system will also be used to send out rewards.
Mail kiosks and couriers are expected to show up in cities, towns, and villages. If you’re just checking messages or sending text-only mail, you won’t need to travel anywhere. But anything involving attached gear or money is tied to those world locations.
The same update also briefly touched on other ongoing work. Visionary Realms said it’s still pushing ahead on Badia de Cara, baseline combat mechanics testing, and prep for class revamps.
Pantheon remains in a long development cycle, and the studio has been talking more openly lately about broad system reworks, especially around combat and progression. This mail update is a smaller piece of that, but it’s one more feature moving toward player testing.
