Pantheon Fixes Wizard Crit Bugs as Badia de Cara Moves Closer to Testing
Visionary Realms says it has fixed several Wizard bugs in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen that were causing critical hits to deal much more damage than intended. The change was mentioned in the studio’s August 7 development update, shortly after the class received a refresh on the test server.
The same update also gives a status check on Badia de Cara, the tropical island region currently heading toward testing. The zone is getting a final pass, with work still underway on NPC pathing, collision, navigation, and city ambience around the Port of Rulun.
- Badia de Cara is being prepared for testing after a final round of zone work.
- NPC pathfinding is being cleaned up in the Sea Dragon Hatchery.
- The Port of Rulun is getting “spatial dialog,” meaning players will hear bits of NPC conversation while moving through the city.
- An automated ferry is being prepared to run between the Port of Rulun and Detihauna.
- Small player-spawned boats are also in development.
- The Market system has hit an internal milestone, with item listing, purchasing, and Mail delivery working in testing.
Class and item work continues too. Visionary Realms says more Mastery pieces are being added across the roster, with Enchanter work next in line. Uncommon items are also being adjusted to fit the game’s newer itemization and combat tuning rules.
Faerthale remains further out, but the team is still building pieces of the area, including Oldwood trees, Faerthale City assets, elven hair options, and spriggan variants. Under the hood, the studio has also started a longer overhaul of core server processes, which it says is needed before some planned gameplay features can ship.
