Old School RuneScape launches Leagues VI as RuneScape adds a batch of QoL changes

Jagex had a busy week across both RuneScape games. On the Old School side, Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts is now live, while RuneScape proper just picked up a new round of quality-of-life features from Game Jam work.

According to the official post, Old School RuneScape’s latest limited-time League lets players stack demonic pacts and relics, fight echo versions of familiar bosses, and earn rewards by racking up points. If you’ve played past Leagues, it’s the same alternate-progression setup with a new ruleset and reward track.

Jagex is also still workshopping leechfin fishing, an activity tied to this summer’s Blood Moon Rising grandmaster quest. The studio says it’s looking at XP-focused rewards and is moving away from blood vial rewards, with a player poll open to gauge interest in that direction.

Over in RuneScape, this week’s changes are mostly practical stuff. The new Game Jam update includes simpler boss enrage scaling, a smarter world-hopping option for finding quieter spots, boss portal sorting, a status window for potion devices, and a rune pouch capacity upgrade.

None of that is especially flashy, but for regular players it’s the kind of cleanup that tends to matter day to day. Jagex outlined the full set of changes in its developer blog.
