MU Online Adds Sanctuary of Aquilas Elite Zone and Limited-Time Reward Events

WEBZEN has added the Sanctuary of Aquilas Elite Zone to MU Online as part of its Season 21-1 Part 3 update, alongside a set of limited-time events running worldwide until September 22.

During the event period, players heading into the new elite zone can earn double drop rates on reward items found there. WEBZEN is also making the nearby Underground Temple a bit easier to push through, with monsters in that area getting a 20% reduction to HP and attack power.

The update is also leaning heavily into faster progression. Rewards from Maze of Dimensions, Boss Battle, Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, and Devil Square are doubled for the duration of the event, while monster hunting EXP in Maze of Dimensions is up by 30%.

There are a few equipment-focused bonuses too. Monsters above level 90 can drop Gemstones during the Jewel of Harmony event, and those can be refined into Jewels of Harmony through the NPC Elpis. Players can also mount and extract Seed Spheres for free while the event is active.

On the enhancement side, Artifact Grade Upgrade combinations are available through the Chaos Goblin, and the success rate for enhancing 1st through 8th Mastery Accessories has been increased by 20%. The event window ends September 22, so most of the bonus rewards and upgrade perks are temporary.
