Blizzard Shares BlizzCon 2026 Schedule, Floor Map, and WoW Watch Drops

Blizzard has posted more of its BlizzCon 2026 plans ahead of the September 12-13 show at the Anaheim Convention Center, including the programming schedule, show floor map, livestream details, and World of Warcraft viewing rewards.

The Opening Ceremony starts Saturday, September 12 at 10:30 a.m. PDT, with the show floor open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. PDT on both Saturday and Sunday. Blizzard says select programming will stream free through official channels, including the Opening Ceremony, major panels, and esports. Some parts of the event, including musical performances, are limited to in-person attendees.

For World of Warcraft players, the main at-home hook is a new set of watch rewards. Eligible Twitch streams will count from September 12 at 9:30 a.m. PDT through September 27 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The official World of Warcraft YouTube channel will count from September 12 at 9:30 a.m. PDT through September 13 at 7:00 p.m. PDT.

  • Watch 2 hours: 200 Trader’s Tender
  • Watch 4 hours: Cuddly Blue Grrgle decor item
  • Watch 8 hours: Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt Mount
  • Watch 12 hours: Venomous Champion’s Illustrious Banner Toy

Players need to connect their Battle.net account to the relevant platform to earn rewards. Twitch users can do that through the Battle.net connections page. Blizzard notes that console and smart TV apps for Twitch and YouTube don’t support drops, so viewers will need to use a web browser or the mobile apps.

In-person attendees can also get the WoW rewards by linking their BlizzCon Pass to their Battle.net account by September 18, 2026. Blizzard says those rewards will be delivered during the week of September 21. The drops don’t apply to World of Warcraft Classic games, and they require a World of Warcraft subscription or game time. The housing decor item also requires access to World of Warcraft: Midnight’s Housing feature.

The posted schedule includes World of Warcraft panels across both days, plus the Mythic Dungeon International and Arena World Championship Grand Finals. Blizzard is also running the Overwatch World Cup, Hearthstone Masters Tour World Championship, and Blizzard Classic Cup during the event.

For attendees, registration opens Friday, September 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PDT, then continues both show days starting at 7:00 a.m. PDT. Blizzard is also reminding visitors that BlizzCon is cashless, so payments for merch, food, and other purchases will need to be made by card or mobile payment.
