Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Adds Infinity War PvP and 50-Player Endgame PvE
Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 launches on October 9, 2026, and NetEase is skipping the usual midseason hero drop this time. Instead, the update is built around two MCU-inspired modes tied to Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, plus Halloween events, new cosmetics, and another 18v18 map.
The first mode, Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Infinity War, goes live with the season. It’s a 2v2 PvP mode where 12 players split into six duos and fight short deathmatch rounds in Wakanda. Players draft from 13 heroes, then pick upgrade cards between rounds to shape their builds. Each team also starts with a random Infinity Stone, and winning teams can take Stones from defeated opponents.
Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Endgame follows on October 22. NetEase describes it as a large PvE mode for 50 players, set in the ruins of Avengers Compound against Thanos and his army. The studio didn’t share much more, but the setup sounds closer to a raid-style event than a standard match type.
- Alchemax Headquarters is being added as a new map for the 18v18 Annihilation mode on October 9.
- Halloween cosmetics are coming for Devil Dinosaur, Elsa Bloodstone, Blade, Deadpool, Rocket Raccoon, Mister Fantastic, Black Cat, Scarlet Witch, and Invisible Woman.
- The All Hallows’ Glow event starts after an October 15 update and includes cosmetic and costume rewards.
- Halloween Night of Illusions begins October 29, with NetEase describing it as an interactive puzzle experience.
- MCU-themed events are also planned for the Times Square player hub alongside the Avengers modes.
NetEase also dated the Marvel Rivals Ignite Grand Finals for November 23 to 29, 2026, at DreamHack Stockholm, where the 2026 Ignite champions will be crowned.
