MapleStory’s Frieren Collaboration Starts September 9

Nexon has outlined MapleStory’s upcoming collaboration with Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, which runs from September 9 through October 7. The event brings Frieren and her companions into Maple World through a limited-time storyline centered on a bronze statue that appears on Mushroom Hill.

Players who meet the event requirements and reach the needed point in the adventure log will be able to take part in several collaboration activities during the event period. The main draw is a set of weekly missions and boss fights tied to Frieren’s Spell Collection Event, where players collect Grimoires.

The crossover also adds battle support from Frieren and Fern, along with Magic Replica Monsters to defeat for event items. Other rewards include limited-time chairs, totems, titles, medals, and themed Petite Luna pets.

Cosmetics are part of the event too, with outfit sets based on characters from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Nexon is also pointing players to the collaboration’s official website for more details.
