MapleStory Classic World Founder’s Access Opens Ahead of October 21 Launch

Founder’s Access for Global MapleStory Classic World is now live, giving players who bought the Zakum or Orange Mushroom Founder’s Packages an early start before the full launch on Wednesday, October 21.

During the early access period, players can create a Beginner character, level up, and move toward one of four classic jobs: Warrior, Magician, Bowman, or Thief. The early build includes Maple Island and Victoria Island, along with party questing and the new Citizenship and Crafting systems made for Classic World.

Founder’s Packages are still on sale, and existing buyers can upgrade them, until October 14 at 11:59 PM PDT. Nexon says the included items are cosmetic only, with no stats or gameplay bonuses. Each package includes items like a unique hat, effect, and outfit set, and they can be used by male or female characters across all jobs.

There are a few claim rules to watch. Founder’s Package items can be claimed through the in-game mailbox from now through November 30 at 11:59 PM UTC. Each package can only be claimed once per account on each platform, meaning once through the Nexon website and once on Steam. Players also need to leave Maple Island before opening their package items, and once claimed, the package has to be opened within 30 days.

Nexon has also started a separate Winter Countdown event in MapleStory, letting players collect useful items ahead of the winter season.
