Blizzard Suspends WoW Players Who Picked Up Extra Bonus Rolls After Reset
Blizzard has temporarily suspended some World of Warcraft players who collected more weekly bonus rolls than intended after the October 6 reset in World of Warcraft: Midnight.
The issue appeared shortly after weekly bonus rolls went live. For a brief window, players could complete the bonus roll quest multiple times and receive extra Nebulous Voidcores, the currency tied to the system. Some players reportedly ended up with 20 or more rolls before Blizzard stepped in.
Blizzard is now removing every Nebulous Voidcore earned beyond the intended amount. Accounts flagged for taking too many received an email saying the suspension will last until 2026/10/07 and won’t be lifted until Blizzard finishes the cleanup. The company also told players that Customer Support won’t be able to help with the suspension while that process is underway.
The lockout is roughly 12 hours based on the timing of the emails, which means some affected players will miss reset-night raiding. On the official forums, a few players said they were confused by a vendor that appeared to allow multiple transmutes, with some claiming they didn’t realize only one bonus roll was meant to be available.
Blizzard hasn’t shared a broader public breakdown of how many accounts were hit, but the immediate action is clear: extra Voidcores are being stripped, and players who grabbed too many are sitting out until the cleanup is done.
