Mabinogi’s Arcana: Martial Hearts Update Adds Two New Hybrid Classes
Nexon America has launched Arcana: Martial Hearts for Mabinogi, adding two new Arcana classes, fresh guide quests, and a higher Total Arcana Level cap. The update is live as of July 17, 2026.
The new classes are Melodic Puppeteer and Blazing Brawler, both built around Mabinogi’s Arcana system, which combines two Grandmaster talents into a hybrid combat style. Players will need a cumulative level of 20,000 or higher before unlocking either one.
- Melodic Puppeteer mixes Bard and Puppeteer talents for mid-to-long-range damage and puppet control. To unlock it, players need the Grandmaster Idol Talent title and must complete the quest “Melodic Puppeteer Cutting the Chord.”
- Blazing Brawler combines close combat and martial arts for fast melee attacks using knuckles. It requires the Grandmaster Brawler Talent title and completion of “Blazing Brawler: Fist of the South Sands.”
- Melodic Puppeteer skills include Downbeat Drop, Wireless Connection, Showstopper, and Live Wire, with a focus on puppet attacks, wire traps, and music buff interactions.
- Blazing Brawler skills include Ignite: Flurry of Fists, Ignite: Cyclone Drive, Ignite: Hammerblow, Berserker’s Fury, and Fire Within, centered on Fury generation and aggressive melee combos.
Arcana Links are also part of the progression path for both classes. Melodic Puppeteer gains permanent HP, MP, and Stamina boosts early on, with higher links improving Marionette synergy while music buffs are active. Blazing Brawler’s links lean into Fury generation and expanded martial arts combo range.
The update also raises the Total Arcana Level cap from 350 to 450. Every 10 total Arcana levels increases a player’s maximum stat caps, giving longtime characters more room to grow.
