Honkai: Star Rail 4.4 Arrives July 15 With Himeko Nova and More Fate Collab Characters
Honkai: Star Rail version 4.4, titled “In Ravages Does the Whistle Sound,” launches July 15 and picks up after the end of Planarcadia’s long stretch of peace. The update continues the main story, with Himeko missing after leaving a clue for the Astral Express crew, and it keeps the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] crossover going.
HoYoverse confirmed the details in its official post, including three new five-star characters tied to the update: Himeko Nova, Rin Tohsaka, and Gilgamesh.
Himeko Nova will be available throughout version 4.4. She’s a Fire character on the Path of Erudition, and her kit centers on deploying a Territory and calling in a mech named Starblazer. While the Territory is active, teammates can gain an Assist skill and use Starblazer to attack. Outside of combat, Himeko Nova can also pilot the mech in the overworld and attack enemies from above.
The Fate collaboration adds Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh as playable five-star characters. Rin is a Quantum Erudition character who uses gems in battle. Gilgamesh is a Lightning character who builds Interest when allies act, then spends it on multi-target attacks, including Gate of Babylon and his ultimate, Enuma Elish.
Version 4.4 will also bring new events and modes, including more crossover content under the Fate/Star Rail Night event as its story rolls forward. Players will be able to claim a 10-pull reward during the update, and the permanent Currency Wars: Zero-Sum Game feature is getting expanded with new updates.
More details on optimizations and smaller additions are expected closer to launch.
