Gloria Victis Relaunches Under Gamigo on June 17
Gloria Victis has a new relaunch date. Gamigo says the low-fantasy medieval MMORPG will return on June 17, following recent playtests and a beta period ahead of its planned comeback.
The PvP-heavy MMO originally shut down in 2023 after roughly a decade online. Gamigo later picked up the license and announced plans to bring it back, with the relaunch aiming to deliver a more polished version of the open-world territory control game.
Gloria Victis is built around faction warfare, castle sieges, crafting, a player-driven economy, and lots of open-world fighting. Gamigo says the team is now handling final polish, bug fixes, and launch prep before the servers reopen.
A post-launch content update called State of War is also in development. Details are still thin, but according to the Steam announcement, Gamigo plans to share more soon about the update’s new opportunities, challenges, and conflicts.
Returning players may also be able to recover some previously purchased skins. Gamigo says eligible skins bought with Ambers or Gold on the same Steam account, and fully unlocked and used before the shutdown, should return when the game relaunches.
More relaunch details, including the skin recovery process, are expected before June 17.
