Funcom says Conan Exiles Enhanced isn’t coming to consoles
Conan Exiles just got its Enhanced update on Steam, but console players won’t be getting the same overhaul. Funcom said it currently has “no plans” to bring the upgrade to PlayStation or Xbox, which clears up the biggest question that popped up after the PC release.
The studio addressed that in an official forum post, where it said the update was built specifically for Steam. Funcom added that the current-gen console versions already received visual and performance improvements in the past, but this new Enhanced pass is only planned for PC.
That’s obviously a rough answer for console players who were hoping the upgrade would roll out more widely. On Steam, Enhanced is the newly released version of the survival sandbox, with upgraded visuals and other technical improvements. But at least for now, Funcom is treating it as a PC-only update rather than a full cross-platform refresh.
Conan Exiles first launched in 2018 and has stayed active through regular updates, new content, and seasonal changes. The game mixes open-world survival systems with base building, crafting, and PvP or PvE play on official and private servers.
Funcom didn’t give a timeline for any possible console version later on, and based on its wording, players probably shouldn’t expect one unless the studio changes course.
